Christmas Tree Elegance 2012

Christmas Tree Elegance, a fundraiser for the Spokane Symphony Associates, kicked off Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Davenport Hotel. A dozen themed trees, each worth approximately $5000 in decor, gifts and sometimes cash, went on display on the mezzanine level of the hotel. The trees are being raffled off and visitors can buy tickets and drop them in a bin near their favorite trees. Another six trees are on display at Riverpark Square. The drawing is on Dec. 8.

A movie-themed Christmas tree display, which comes with a giant flat screen TV, is part of Christmas Tree Elegance Wednesday.
