Great Pumpkin Race
Some 60 entries raced downhill one block to benefit Mid-City Concerns Meals on Wheels Spokane for the 3rd Annual Great Pumpkin Race, Oct 26, 2013, on the 1600 block of Madison Street in Spokane. The pumpkins had to be on wheels and be gravity powered only. Meals on Wheels executive director Mollie Dalpae said $1,000 was raised by the event.
