  • COMING IN FOR A LANDING On Friday, April 17th, I noticed that an Osprey has claimed one of the nesting platforms on the Centennial Trail at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. I watched as she few off the nest, agitated when a Bald Eagle flew close by, and then she returned to the nest. While on the nest, she called out frequently to her mate who was perched on a telephone pole a short distance away eating a fish.
