The spokesman review used to give a price for the first butter cup, found in Spokane when I was a little kid growing up in the area. Our family still always looks for the first buttercup.
I found this butter cup on February 12 in the Dishman Hills area and this is the earliest I have ever seen a butter cup in Spokane due to the extremely mild winter
