EUGENE, Ore. – The struggling Spokane Indians offense was shut down again, resulting in a 3-0 loss to the Eugene Emeralds in the third of a season-ending six-game series at PK Park on Thursday. 

EUGENE, Ore. – The Spokane Indians hitters were completely shut down by Eugene pitching in a seven-inning Northwest League doubleheader sweep at PK Park on Wednesday. 

EUGENE, Ore. – Jean Carlos Sio hit a two-out, three-run home run in the eighth inning and the Eugene Emeralds beat the Spokane Indians 10-4 in the opener of a six-game High-A Northwest League series at PK Park on Tuesday. 

The home portion of the Spokane Indians season came to a close on Sunday at Avista Stadium. And though the Indians did not end up with a win in the final home game, it didn't diminish the enthusiasm of a crowd of 6,494 gathered for the season-ending fireworks. 

The Spokane Indians seized a big lead early with a big inning but the visitors didn’t roll over, sending the Indians to a loss in the penultimate home game of the season.

Pitcher Josh Grosz had struggled in his first five starts since coming to the Colorado Rockies organization in the trade that sent major leaguer Ryan McMahon to the New York Yankees.

The Spokane Indians on Thursday benefitted from nine walks, four wild pitches and a hit batter, and it all added up to their sixth win in a row.

Stu Flesland has been on quite a streak. A couple of them, actually.

In the myriad ways to plate the winning run in a baseball game, a walk-off walk might not be the most exciting. But they all count the same. 

EVERETT – Tevin Tucker hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning and the Spokane Indians held off the Everett AquaSox 4-3 in the fifth of a six-game High-A Northwest League series at Funko Field on Saturday. 

EVERETT – Spokane Indians starting pitcher Stu Flesland turned in another terrific performance in a day game on Thursday in Everett. But he was long gone from the game when the AquaSox walked it off in extra innings.
