Mary Beth Donelan joined The Spokesman-Review in 1989. As Newsroom Office Manager and member of the management team, she supervises the newsroom support staff and the research library staff, works closely with and coordinates requests from reporters and editors and monitors newsroom budgets and payroll.
Chris Soprych joined The Spokesman-Review in 2016. He is the Assistant Managing Editor for Design and is responsible for the look and feel of The Spokesman-Review. He designs the front page every day and works on multimedia projects as well. Chris has previously worked for the Seattle Times, Chicago Tribune and most recently at the Orange County Register.
Rachel Toor is a freelance columnist who writes a column titled, "Everything is Copy."
Joined The Spokesman-Review in 2013. He is the urban issues reporter, covering transportation, housing, development and other issues affecting the city. Donna Wares came to The Spokesman-Review in 2017 and is a senior editor and director of The Spokesman-Review’s Northwest Passages Book Club and Community Forum. She previously worked at the Orange County Register as managing editor and the Los Angeles Times as national weekend editor, among other publications.
