Isla Hansen

Isla Hansen joined The Spokesman-Review in June of 2026 as a summer high school intern as part of the Teen Journalism Institute. The program funded by a grant from Spokane Teachers Credit Union. She will be learning the facets of working at a newspaper including interview and writing skills. Isla is secretary for the LaunchNW Youth Council, an incoming senior at Spokane International Academy and is dual enrolled at Spokane Falls Community College.
