Six Vying For Nic Board Posts
Six candidates are competing for two seats on the North Idaho College board of trustees.
The trustees are elected at large and generally serve six year terms. The election is Tuesday.
Incumbent Robert Ely is being challenged by Robert Whitehead and Robert Hunt.
Sue Thilo was appointed to fill a seat vacated by Judy Meyer in April. Thilo is being challenged by Mary Taylor and Randall Geib to finish the four years remaining in Meyer’s term.

Precincts 1 and 4 vote at NIC’s Boswell Hall, 1000 Garden Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.
Precincts 2, 3, 9 and 31 vote at Lakes Middle School, 930 N. 15th St. in Coeur d’Alene.
Precinct 8 votes at Ramsey Elementary School, 1351 Kathleen Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.
Precincts 5 and 6 vote at St. Pius Center, 625 E. Haycraft Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.
Precincts 11, 12, 15 and 30 vote at Frederick Post School, 201 W. Mullan Ave. in Post Falls.
Precincts 13, 14 and 26 vote at the Post Falls Fire Station, 404 Idaho St. in Post Falls.
Precincts 16 and 17 vote in the Rathdrum Senior Center, 1415 Highway 41.
Precinct 19 votes in the Spirit Lake Civic Center.
Precincts 27 and 28 vote at Mica Grange, Highway 95 and Kidd Island Bay road.
Precinct 22 votes in the Athol Community Hall.
Precinct 23 votes at the Harrison Ambulance Building in Harrison.
Precincts 24 and 25 vote at the Canyon School in Cataldo.
Precinct 29 votes at the Worley Grange Hall on Highway 95.
Precinct 32, 33, 18, 20 and 21 vote in Hayden Meadows School, 900 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden.
