Harding Center Soliciting Ideas For Community

The Harding Family Center is seeking ideas on how it can serve as a true community family center.

The center staff is considering a community garden, basketball courts, weekly movies, dances, a Saturday market and more.

The center, 411 N. 15th St., houses Head Start and similar programs. Focus groups will meet there to solicit more ideas and refine the popular ones. The meetings are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. April 26.

The center also is distributing a questionnaire door-to-door in the Harding neighborhood. Call 667-8479 to share ideas or to volunteer.
