Bruce Willis’ Birthday Party Brings Hollywood To Idaho

Associated Press

So where does a Hollywood star celebrate his birthday in this central Idaho community of 1,275?

At the local bowling alley, of course.

The weekly Wood River Journal said actress Demi Moore rented the 12-lane Mountain Sun Bowling Lanes in Bellevue last weekend so husband Bruce Willis could celebrate his 40th birthday with invited friends from the film industry.

The paper said Willis showed up with his own shirt, shoes and bowling ball. No scores were available.

The Saturday evening event was part of a three-day celebration. Willis has extensive real estate holdings and business interests in the area. Guests were treated to a tour of his Flying Heart Ranch before bowling night.

The weekly said the guest list of about 70 people included Geena Davis, Woody Harrelson, Arnold and Maria Schwarzenegger and Christian Slater.

The topper of the weekend was a closed party at Willis’ Dyno-Mite Lounge in Ketchum starring Tom Jones. There also was private dancing at the Sun Valley Lodge.

Film encyclopedias say Willis was born March 19, 1955, in West Germany. He married actress Demi Moore in 1987.
