Jets May Flee Winnipeg

One of the leaders in Minnesota’s bid to regain an NHL team says there is an excellent chance of the league returning to the Twin Cities next season if the Winnipeg Jets are forced to move.

Twin Cities businessman Harvey Mackay, who met with Winnipeg officials in Phoenix during the weekend, said he believes Minnesota will be able to come up with the $75 million the Jets are expected to cost and estimated there is a “40-60” chance the team will leave Winnipeg.
