U.N. Envoy To Meet With Burma Officials

A special envoy of the U.N. secretary-general arrived Sunday for talks with Burmese officials and pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

Assistant Secretary-General Alvaro De Soto was to meet today with Foreign Minister Ohn Gyaw and the minister for immigration and population.

He was to meet with Suu Kyi at her home tonight.
