Donald and Betty (Schaefer) Schwisow, Ritzville, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Legion Hall in Ritzville.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Paul and Florence Schwisow, and Jean and Marty Finan, all of Ritzville; and Dawn and Chris Jones, Puyallup, Wash.

Married Nov. 14, 1945, in Ritzville, the Schwisows have three grandchildren.
