Little To Sign Autographs In Spokane

Chad Little, whose big year on the Busch Grand National circuit has led to big changes, will return to his native Spokane for a pre-Christmas autograph session.

Little will sign at DK Motorsports Collectibles near University City on Dec. 20. The early evening starting time is to be announced, said Ken Vierth of DK.

Little, who won six races and a Busch Series-record $529,056 in ‘95, has traded his career association with Ford for Pontiac in ‘96.

The 32-year-old Spokane driver has also changed sponsorship, from Bayer/Harris Teeter to John Deere.

Voted the most popular driver on the Grand National circuit this season, Little is expected to run another full season in the Busch Series, with a limited Winston Cup race schedule in ‘96.

The Mark Rypien Motorsports team plans to move back into Winston Cup racing full-time in ‘97.

Little’s appearance in Spokane is in part a benefit for the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Vierth said.

Fans are asked to bring a toddler toy.
