Spokane police are searching for a man accused of trying to shoot his girlfriend following a Wednesday afternoon dispute at a Browne’s Addition apartment.

Gunshots rang out in the 2100 block of West Riverside about 1:30 p.m.

Police said the man, upset after arguing with his girlfriend, shot at the woman while chasing her down Riverside.

Kendrick Odell Mason, 19, is being called a “person of interest” by police, said spokesman Dick Cottam.

He is 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Mason’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
