Fourth-ranked Kentucky (6-1) used a 32-2 first-half run to take control on the way to a 118-99 victory over Marshall (4-2) on Tuesday night at Louisville, Ky.

At Durham, N.C., Greg Newton scored a career-high 24 points and Jeff Capel keyed the Blue Devils’ early second-half run as Duke overcame a slow start to beat the Blue Hens (3-3).
Mike Brey, an assistant at Duke for eight seasons before taking the Delaware job this summer, received hugs in pregame introductions from each of the Blue Devils starters, most of whom he helped recruit.
