No. 10 Georgia Beats No. 11 Iowa

Kedra Holland scored 15 points and No. 10 Georgia used full-court pressure and a barrage of 3-pointers to beat No. 11 Iowa 79-52 in the Carolinas Holiday Beach Classic women’s basketball tournament.

Georgia (7-2) forced 21 turnovers and used inside-outside balance to control the game. Tracy Henderson and La’Keshia Frett scored 14 points apiece as Georgia forced the Hawkeyes (7-1) to go to a zone early. When they did, Holland and Pam Irwin made them pay, hitting 5 of 5 3-pointers in the first half.
