Australian Beach Party-Goers Unruly

Revelers at Sydney’s Bondi Beach injured police and damaged cars early today after a Christmas Day party on the popular beach.

Police said a crowd of 3,000 converged Monday to celebrate.

Shortly after midnight, some tried to overturn a city bus. The crowd also targeted police with missiles, and one constable received a cut lip and bruises when struck in the face by a bottle.
