Football Kicks Abc To Top Rating

“NFL Monday Night Football” led ABC to a weekly win over NBC’s reign, according to Nielsen ratings released Wednesday.

As the No. 1 network, ABC garnered a 9.7 rating, followed by NBC (9.6), CBS (8.0) and Fox (6.8)

“NFL Monday Night Football” posted a 17.8 rating/31 share, followed by NBC’s medical drama “ER” and sitcoms “Seinfeld” and “Frasier.”

Here are the top 10 prime-time programs for Dec. 18-24, their networks, ratings and shares:
