Kootenai County Sheriff

Michael Salazare, 15800 block of Pinewood Way, Hayden Lake, reported Saturday that someone shot and killed his black Labrador while fighting with his other dog. The other dog died from wounds.

Christopher Hart reported Tuesday the $6,500 theft of tools and a tool box from his garage in the 6800 block of 15th, Coeur d’Alene.

Daryl Thompson reported Sunday the $500 theft of a bicycle from a residence in the 300 block of W. Fourth Avenue.

James Hoseth, an employee with Sears, Silver Lake Mall, reported Monday the $876 fraudulent use of a Discover credit card.

Kerwin Bennett reported Tuesday the $850 theft of a Gibson electric guitar and an amplifier from his office in the 900 block of Sherman.
