Andrus Joins Board Of Fertilizer Company
Nu-West Industries, Inc., has elected former Idaho Gov. Cecil Andrus to its board of directors.
Andrus, who wound up an unprecedented 14 years as governor on Monday, earlier in the week was named to the Albertson’s, Inc., board.
Nu-West is a mining and manufacturing company which markets both dry and liquid phosphate fertilizer products, primarily in the western United States, Canada and Mexico.
President and Chief Executive Officer Craig Harlen announced the appointment on Thursday. He said Andrus brings “extensive executive experience, proven leadership abilities and a unique perspective on the western U.S. that will be exceptionally beneficial to us.”
Nu-West reported sales of $94 million in the fiscal year ended June 30, 1994, and employs about 300 people, primarily in Idaho.
