Mr. And Mrs. Braungardt Spokane

Derwood “Brownie” and Amelia Braungardt, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with the renewal of their vows at a Mass, followed by a reception at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church.

Hosts for the events were their daughters: Linda and her husband, Larry Denning, Spokane; and JoAnn Baugh and her fiance Jim Butterfield.

Also assisting were Amelia Braungardt’s sisters and their husbands: Rita and Jim McFarland, Federal Way, Wash.; Genevieve and Hurl Pierce, Liberty Lake; and her brother Charles Lombard, Spokane.

Married Jan. 7, 1946, in Spokane, the couple have eight grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
