CBS: Cute But Stupid

It shouldn’t have mattered that cute Connie Chung tricked Momma Gingrich into saying a nasty about Hillary Clinton. Ideally, Connie would have reviewed the film and deleted her ethical boo-boo. More likely, she would have looked at the film and said, “this doesn’t make ME look good, people can hardly see ME through Ma Gingrich’s cigarette smoke.” But no. CBS showcased its lack of ethics, using the nasty to promo the show. The whole CBS crew should go to rehab at PBS to see how good documentary reporting is done. Wait. PBS? Gingrich? Budget cuts? Oops.

Hot Seat bids for Spokane City Council retreat

We’ve got a deal for Spokane’s taxpayers. The Hot Seat will sponsor a retreat for the City Council. We’ll take them to a secluded spot on Lake Roosevelt. Members of our First Amendment Response Team will serve Old Milwaukee and pork and beans in the ambiance of a camp fire. Another California gang

California sea lion gangs are forming at the locks in front of Lake Washington. Wearing bandannas and smoking cigarettes, they eat the innocent steelhead. The state can use lethal force but first they must: Try noise-prevention techniques, like having Mike Lowry yell “go away bad sea lions” over a bullhorn. Build detention facilities for repeat offenders. Prove that a lion has eaten more than 10 percent of the run in a seven-day period. Which means the state would have to teach the lions to count. Then, the state would have to hire auditors. Then. …
