At a glance
Only one of Portland’s Big Three - Roland - is definitely in the lineup tonight. Deadmarsh, who had three goals and two assists for the U.S. team last week in the World Junior Tournament as it rallied from a 3-1 deficit to beat Finland, would report to Quebec if NHL lockout ends. Jason Wiemer is still out with a broken ankle. The once goal-happy Hawks were grounded Sunday in Red Deer 2-0, getting only 19 shots. Hawks have salvaged only one tie in last seven road games. Still, the young club isn’t lacking for inspiration. One WHL West team either the Chiefs, Hawks or Prince George - will miss the playoffs.
