Woman Robbed At Salon

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two boys wearing dark ski masks pushed aside a woman and stole a purse Tuesday at a Spokane beauty salon.

The robbers came to the back door of Joy’s Beauty Salon, N2617 Division, about 6 p.m., said Spokane police Sgt. Judi Carl said.

Police didn’t identify the woman, who chased the robbers for a couple of blocks in her van but lost them. Police later found her purse in a trash can with nothing missing. The robbers were both described as about 5 feet 3 inches tall, dressed mostly in black. One wore a gray sweat shirt and the other a black and white jacket, Carl said.
