It’s a matter of priorities

I’m not saying we have lost all perspective on anything connected with the O.J. trial. I’m just saying we have lost all perspective, period.

He popped a few buttons

Of course, there were some interesting developments in that O.J. trial. A TV camera inadvertently shot a picture of an alternate juror, causing Judge Lance Ito to walk over and rough up the cameraman.

These are reliable, credible witnesses

I think things are looking good for O.J.’s defense. They can produce dozens of witnesses who never saw O.J. do it.

Will it really last that long?

Get ready for the long haul on this O.J. trial. It will last six months, by which time President Clinton will be wrapping up that State of the Union Address.

The Democrats should have demanded equal time

The Republican response was much shorter, mainly because Clinton had already delivered the Republicans’ speech for them.

The second-best speech of the day

It was a good, solid State of the Union Address. A poll showed that many Americans thought it was just as good as Marcia Clark’s State of the Union Address.

He’ll get broad, bipartisan support

I’m relieved that Clinton is finally taking a position that both sides can applaud. By both sides, I mean Red Sox fans and Yankee fans.

No, they’ll never be that grateful

I refer, of course, to his intervention in the baseball strike. If he solves this, the public will be so grateful they may even quit picking on Hillary.

Try to avoid certain dangerous situations

And in one final note, Spokane has been named the 19th safest city in America. However, it has a shockingly high rate of people getting shoved in an airport.
