E. Central Celebrates Neighbor Days Today

Spokane’s East Central area will celebrate Neighbor Days today at Underhill Park.

A parade kicks off today’s neighborhood celebration at 10 a.m. Events at the park continue until 5 p.m.

East Central Girl Scouts, youth baseball teams, the Angus Scott Bagpipe Players and a Sheridan Elementary float will be in the parade.

In addition, 5- to 7-year-olds have been asked to march in the parade dressed as their favorite non-violent cartoon character.

Live entertainment, food stands and 5-cent popcorn and sno-cones will be available at the park.
