Season-Enders Put Abc At Top Of Ratings

Back-to-back episodes of “Home Improvement,” the season finale of “NYPD Blue” and the last episode of “Full House” put ABC in first place in last week’s prime-time ratings race.

NBC, which packed five of its hit series into the Top 10, was second, according to Nielsen ratings. CBS’ Wednesday movie, Kellie Martin’s “The Face on the Milk Carton,” was its only Top 10 show.

For the week of May 22-May 28, ABC earned a 9.9 rating and an 18 percent share of the audience. NBC had a 9.3 rating, 17 share, and CBS ran third with a 7.9 rating, 14 share. Fox had a 7.4 rating and 14 share.
