Four Children Die In Mobile Home Fire

A racing fire pushed back a mother and father who unsuccessfully tried to rescue their four young children from the blaze that consumed their family’s mobile home Wednesday.

The children, ages six months to 5, died of smoke inhalation, said deputy coroner Lonnie Williams.

A wood stove probably caused the blaze, officials said.
