TVx Gold Relocates To New Building

From Staff Reports

Toronto-based TVX Gold Inc. will relocate its Operations Group to the Spokesman-Review Building this spring, agents for the new building said Monday.

TVX Gold owns several North and South American mines. The operations group will control most of the company’s properties from the new office, said Richard McKernan of Beebe McKernan & McCarty, which manages the building.

TVX Gold will occupy the 8,000-square-foot 3rd floor of the Spokesman-Review building at 608 Northwest Boulevard. The law firm Whitherspoon, Kelly, Davenport & Toole will move to the 4th floor from its current 3rd floor .

In December TVX Gold settled a lawsuit against Spokane-based Gold Reserve Corp. over a Venezuelan gold mine. However, TVX’s move to Coeur d’Alene probably had little to do with that case, McKernan said.

The company plans to add 10-20 new people depending on how many transfer from its Toronto office. The company expects to be ready for business around June 1.

The Spokesman-Review building, opened last fall, is now completely leased.
