Hey Sport - Whitworth College Camps Still Open

There is still time to register for several sports camps offered by Whitworth College this summer.

You’ll find camps on girls and boys basketball, tennis, volleyball and baseball - for a variety of ages. Registration is open through June; the camps costs between $55 and $150, depending on the sport.

Auditions for the KidsWeek talent show are Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Met, so get singing, or dancing, or whatever it is you do best.

The Chase Youth Commission is looking for specialty acts by teens and youth (18 years and under) for a talent event this summer. For more information, call 625-6440 today.

Art oriented

The Spokane Art School is holding a Summer Arts Program for youth and adults from June 19 to Aug. 24 at 920 N. Howard. Registration is now open for two-week session or three-hour workshops on Fridays.

There are classes in ceramics, jewelry making, mask making and sculpture. Scholarships are available, but space is limited. Call now at 328-0900.
