The New York Knicks signed guard Gary Grant to a one-year contract worth about $500,000.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tyrone Hill remains hospitalized with injuries which left his right arm and right leg weakened. Hill was struck from behind in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday.
