Second Man Treated After Fight At Party

From Staff And Wire Reports

A second stabbing victim was being treated at Valley Hospital and Medical Center on Saturday after a fight at a party in the Spokane Valley injured three people late Friday.

The fight started about 10:30 p.m. when somebody tried to end a party in the 12000 block of East Buckeye where between 30 and 50 people had gathered, sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies found the man, believed to be in his early 20s, in a house on South Pines Friday night, but he refused treatment from paramedics.

However, the man’s wounds were more severe than originally thought and he checked himself into Valley Hospital Saturday afternoon, said Lt. Chan Bailey.

A 15-year-old boy, who was stabbed in the chest, remained at Valley Hospital Saturday evening. He was admitted Friday night after friends drove him to the hospital.

A third person was severely beaten in the head and face with jumper cables and also suffered a possible broken bone in his back. He was also taken by friends to Valley Hospital Friday night.

Deputies are looking for a man in his 20s. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, has black hair and was wearing a black coat and gloves. , DataTimes
