Woman Reports Domestic Attack

Police are investigating reports that a 20-year-old Coeur d’Alene woman was injured during an assault Sunday.

The woman said the assault was a result of a domestic dispute. She told police a man came into her living room, kicked her in the ribs and face and raped her.

“We don’t know exactly what took place,” Police Capt. Carl Bergh said. “It is clear she suffered some injuries as a result of being struck by someone.”

There were additional interviews with the victim Monday. No arrests have been made.
