The 100th running of the Boston Marathon next April 15 will have the biggest field - and the biggest prize structure - in race history.
Top runners in each division will be chasing a total purse of $600,000 that includes $100,000 each to the overall men’s and women’s winners.
The $600,000 purse is the largest guaranteed in road racing and doesn’t include bonuses for course and world records.
