Wings Celebrate ‘94, Then Rout Oilers, 9-0

Vladimir Konstantinov and Doug Brown each had two goals and an assist to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 9-0 rout of the Edmonton Oilers in their NHL home opener Friday night.

The Red Wings’ victory followed a 25-minute pregame ceremony that saw them raise banners for their 1994-95 Central Division, Western Conference, President’s Trophy and Campbell Bowl titles.
