Deal Close To Reopen Rail Line Through Pass

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp.’s plan to reopen its rail line across Stampede Pass appears closer to fruition.

Nick Temple, president of Yakima-based Washington Central Railroad, said Tuesday that he and Burlington Northern are close to an agreement.
