Johns Hopkins Picks Brody As President
Johns Hopkins University on Monday named its former school of radiology director as its 13th president.
Dr. William Brody, provost of the academic health center at the University of Minnesota, is expected to assume the post Sept. 1.
Brody, 52, a medical doctor and biomedical engineer, will be in charge of Hopkins university’s nine divisions, including its highly regarded medical school, and will oversee an effort to improve cooperation between the university and Johns Hopkins Hospital, two separate corporations.
