Spokane Sweeps Shoreline At Sfcc

Jen Risinger’s two-run homer in the first inning Friday sent Community Colleges of Spokane past visiting Shoreline 6-4 in the first game of an NWAACC softball doubleheader sweep.

In the second game, Julie Fountain (4-2) held Shoreline to one hit while striking out six during a 4-0 Sasquatch win.

Marci Meddock of CCS went 4 for 4 in the nightcap, drove in one run, scored once and stole a base.
