North Idaho Students On Gu President’s List

The following Inland Northwest students have been named to the President’s List at Gonzaga University for the fall semester. Students must earn at least a 3.7 grade-point average for the semester to be listed.

Coeur d’Alene: Barbara J. Bolich, senior.

Post Falls: Paul G. Boyd,.

Moscow: Shauna Howser, senior.

Mike Feiler, Coeur d’Alene, was recently named a finalist in the Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) Fraternalist of the Year Program for his endless spirit of volunteerism.

Feiler, a member of AAL Branch 3943, will receive a $300 grant, which he is donating to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Coeur d’Alene. he has been an AAL member for 24 years.

The AAL is an organization offering volunteer opportunities and insurance products to Lutherans and their families.

John Chatfield and Scott Hoover, were recently chosen as Students of the Month at Lake City High School.

Chatfield and Hoover are members of the Timberwolves basketball team and are honor students.

Genevra Sloan, Moscow, recently won Best of Show for Two Dimensional Art in the Lewis-Clark Juried Art Exhibit.

Sonia Wilkins, Moscow, won the second place award for Three Dimesnsional Art.

Each award winner receives a ribbon and a cash award for “Best of Show”categories.
