Jailed Biker Injured By Grenade Tossed In Cell

Compiled From Wire Services

Unidentified attackers lobbed a grenade through a prison cell window near Copenhagen early Friday, critically injuring a biker from the Bandidos gang, police said.

Morten Christensen, 27, was the only person hurt in the attack which occurred shortly after 4 a.m. It appears to be the latest blow in an ongoing feud between rival biker gangs.

During a two-year feud in the Nordic countries, four local members of the Houston-based Bandidos gang have been killed by rivals who belong to the Oakland, Calif.-based Hells Angels and its supporters.

Earlier this month, anti-tank grenades were fired into club houses owned by the Hells Angels and their affiliates in Denmark and Sweden. No one was injured.
