Kevorkian Delivers Body To Hospital

Associated Press

Dr. Jack Kevorkian and an associate brought the body of a middle-aged Massachusetts woman to a hospital late Thursday, at least the 35th person whose death he has been present for.

Kevorkian and his associate, Dr. Georges Reding, left the body at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital at 11:07 p.m., said Dr. Mitchell Garfield, an emergency room physician.

Garfield said Kevorkian identified the woman as Judith Curren, 42, of Pembroke, Mass. Details on how she died were not immediately available.

“Some of our personnel helped remove her from a car and put her in a wheelchair,” Garfield said. The woman was pronounced dead and no effort was made to revive her, he said.
