East Valley Holds Off Kellogg

East Valley’s girls found a remedy Wednesday for shooting 27 percent from the floor.

The Knights (2-2) held Kellogg to 18-percent field-goal shooting for a 47-31 win during the first day of EV’s Christmas Tournament.

April Tomblin had 11 rebounds and Rebecca Triplett 10 for EV, which outrebounded the Wildcats (3-5) 47-35. EV will play for the title today against Lakeside.
