Reebok Sues ‘Jerry Maguire’

Reebok has sued the makers of the Tom Cruise movie “Jerry Maguire,” claiming the film damaged the shoe company’s reputation and dropped a promise to include a commercial in the film.

Reebok filed the lawsuit Monday against TriStar Pictures Inc. in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, seeking $110 million in damages for a dozen allegations such as breach of contract, intentional misrepresentation, trade disparagement, unjust enrichment and unfair competition.
