Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: I’d like to share a safety hint with your readers.

If most bathrooms are like ours, they have a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang a robe.

One day while bathing, I saw the robe fall to the floor. Had I slipped or needed some sort of assistance, no one could have opened that door.

I also noticed the hinges to remove the door are on the inside of the bathroom. I’ve since found another place to put my robe, but I would not have thought of this hazard had I not seen my robe fall.- Arlene Davenport, Billings, Mont.
