New Century Summit Will Look To The Future

The future of the Inland Northwest will be the topic of the New Century Planning Summit on Saturday.

People interested in setting community priorities can attend the free event, which will be held at the Lair Student Center at Spokane Community College.

Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. The event is expected to wrap-up by early afternoon.

Business owners, community leaders and residents will work together to identify the 10 top issues facing the region over the next 20 years, then talk about ways to address them.

Free day care will be available.
