Sporting Prices Give Thrifty Skiers The Inside Edge

Candy Barrie Sisters Syndicate

Skiing is one sport that can carry a hefty price tag. But you can find inexpensive skiwear alternatives.

Today’s snowmobile suit for well under $100 is a case in point. Fiberfill insulation and a snap-on insulated hood and storm collar helps fend off the bitter cold. This garment has a lot of great features. Best of all, it’s machine-washable and dryable. The company guarantees you’ll like it or they’ll pay for the return postage.

I’m partial to goggle-style sunglasses for skiing. They keep wind and snow out of your eyes while allowing peripheral vision. Good sunglasses at good prices are hard to come by, but one source for ski sunglasses is the Sunglass Hut.
