Rangers Dominate Flyers, 4-0

From Wire Reports

NHL

Since sweeping the New York Rangers out of the Eastern Conference semifinals last season, the Philadelphia Flyers have become a measuring stick for the 1994 Stanley Cup champions.

The stick can officially be splintered now, much like the Flyers’ offense Saturday.

New York dominated Philadelphia in a 4-0 victory. The listless Flyers never really got close to scoring. Earlier in the season, the Rangers pulled out a 2-1 triumph in Philadelphia.

Rangers captain Mark Messier has been nothing short of dominant this season, and Saturday was no exception. Messier had two goals and two assists and now has 66 points (31 goals, 35 assists).
