North Idaho Bank To Open Boise Branch
Fast-growing Idaho Independent Bank will open a Boise branch this fall, announced the Coeur d’Alene-based bank.
IIB recorded record earnings and growth for this past year, according to Jack Gustavel, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the bank.
The Boise branch will employ 10 people in downtown Boise, a market ripe for a locally-owned bank that makes its own decisions rather than deferring to out-of-state owners, Gustavel said.
“We believe Ada County has a need for a local, full-service, community bank, and we believe IIB is positioned to fill that need better than any other bank in Idaho,” Gustavel said.
The branch will offer checking, savings, and personal, commercial and real estate loans. IIB has branches in Hayden and Coeur d’Alene.
