Whitworth Provost Quits To Take New Job

Ken Shipps, Whitworth College’s dean of the faculty and provost since 1992, has resigned for a new position as an academic administrator at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Tammy Reid, associate dean for academic affairs at Whitworth, will head up an interim administrative team while the college searches for a full-time replacement.
